Josh Starkey

Josh Starkey learned to play the guitar when he was around 14 years old, and progressed to playing professionally in the small town of Altavista, Virginia. For over 20 years, his heartfelt tunes and passionate guitar playing have entertained audiences of all ages, traveling from his hometown to the Port City of Wilmington, NC. In May 2021, Josh took the road with his guitar again to bring his authentic sound around the country.

Josh plays a soulful combination of originals, Americana, Folk, Indie, Country, Reggae, and Acoustic Rock. His set features musicians such as Jason Isbell, Tyler Childers, Turnpike Troubadours, John Prine, Zach Bryan, Bob Marley, and Johnny Cash.

Josh is sure to play some songs you can sing along to, a few that will be new to your ears, and an overall set that will leave you and your guests wanting more.
